Delivery Time: 3 weeks — 3 months depending on commission type, complexity and schedule. Strict due dates will incur a rush fee.Credits: Written credit must be given to the artist, yue lin, upon any form of re-post or usage. Removal of the artist's signature/watermark is strictly prohibited.

ᴘᴀʏᴍᴇɴᴛ & ᴄᴀɴᴄᴇʟʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴs

PayPal is currently the only accepted payment type, in the form of an invoice.Under $100: Full payment made upfront. Nonrefundable once work has started.
$100+: 50% initial deposit by default unless otherwise discussed (nonrefundable once work has started). Cancellations are accepted before work completion.Revisions after sketch approval which are not the fault of the artist will incur extra fees and be billed separately.Commercial Use: ~2x base price unless discussed/stated otherwise.Artist may refuse or cancel service to any client for any reason. Any payment that has been received will be refunded.Any chargebacks requests will result in a blacklist from future commissions.

ʀɪɢʜᴛs & ᴜsᴀɢᴇ

— Artist reserves the right to use art for self-promotion (i.e. website, portfolio, promotional directories).— All rights not expressly granted remain property of the artist.— Grant of any rights is conditional upon payment in full.— Client may not edit, correct, adapt, modify or change the finished artwork in any way, without written permission from the artist.— Client may not use the artwork for AI or NFTs.— All roughs, sketches and preliminary work remain property of the artist.— Client will indemnify, and hold the artist harmless against any claim arising from the artist's reliance upon reference material provided to the artist by the client.

By commissioning me (yue lin), the client agrees to the Terms of Service stated above.

There is Internet in the Afterlife

Long ago, there were two powerful grim reapers named the Hei Bai Wu Chang, or the Black & White Impermanence. They were tasked with the sacred duty of guarding the gate between the world of the living and the realm of the dead. For centuries, they stood at the gate, escorting the spirits of the dead to their final resting place. Their work was tireless, and they took their duties very seriously.However, even for the Hei Bai Wu Chang, life couldn't be all work and no play. The two reapers were burnt out. Like flames on a candle meeting the end of their wick, they quit their thankless jobs and eventually retired into the underworld themselves.Yue Hei and Bai Lin, the successors of the Hei Bai Wuchang, were determined to prevent the same fate. Learning from the regrets of dying souls, they knew that maintaining a proper work-life balance was essential to one's happiness and well-being.They approached their boss, the god of death, with a bold proposal."Please let us work part-time! We will alternate shifts!"The god of death was skeptical at first, but he could see the sincerity and dedication in their eyes. He granted their request.And so, Yue Hei and Bai Lin, also known as Yue & Lin, became the first part-time grim reapers in history.When they were not working, they could be found pursuing their passions. Yue was an avid gamer, and spent her free time immersed in virtual worlds and connecting with online communities. Lin, on the other hand, was an artist, devoted to capturing the beauty of the world and her imagination.Eventually, the two reapers found a shared interest in chatting with entities from all walks of life (and death), and were introduced to vtubing! They combined their skills together and quickly built paper dolls of themselves, hoping to share their endeavours and connect with the human world.
